How to Listen to DAB Digital Radio

Pure Radio Scotland can be heard across Central Scotland on DAB Digital Radio. 

DAB Digital Radio in your car

You might be lucky and your car will automatically find Pure Radio Scotland with just a quick search, however, if you cannot find us there are three simple ways to make sure you never miss a minute of Pure Radio Scotland.

1. Press re-tune your DAB digital radio, which automatically re-tunes all your stations. It will check if the stations programmed into your radio are still broadcasting and if they need to be slightly altered. It will also lock in Pure Radio if you are re-tuning in an area where the DAB digital radio can find the station.
2. Auto-tune. By auto-tuning your radio will store new stations as they are found. The display on your radio will increase and new stations will be added to the list - where you will find Pure Radio Scotland.
3. Select "scan on your radio" and it will automatically scan your local area for all broadcasting stations.

Smart Speaker

Simply Ask Alexa, Siri or other smart speakers in your best Scottish accent to "Play Pure Radio Scotland".

If you have a Google Home or Google Nest, simply say "Okay Google, open Pure Radio Scotland". 

The devices should automatically find Pure Radio Scotland.

The Pure Radio app is available on all Apple iOS devices in the app store and on Android devices on Google Play.

Click one of the links to your relevant app store below and it will direct you on how to download the Pure Radio Scotland app.

By using the application listeners can then connect their device to a DAB digital radio and play Pure Radio Scotland through a Bluetooth speaker.

Listen Online

You are already on our website so this bit is easy.

Click "Listen Live" at the top or bottom of this page. Once clicked, it will automatically open a new web tab with our online radio player and it will play what is broadcasting live right now on Pure Radio Scotland.

You can also find us on Tune In online and on their app.

Now on FM in Tayside

If you are in the Tayside, you can now hear Pure Radio on 102FM in and around Dundee. If you're in and around Perth, you'll find us on 106.6FM. Make sure to have AF selected on your car so the radio switches to the right frequency as you drive around Scotland.
