Automation and Local Programming
On Pure Radio, the majority of our programming is produced locally and presented from our studios at 50 Craighall Road, Glasgow. The remainder of our programming comes the designated local area as in out in our Ofcom format.
It is necessary at certain times to automate or voice track programmes. Voice tracking is where the presenter has pre-recorded their links but may not necessarily be in the studio at the time the programme is broadcast.
The late evening / overnight music element of Pure Radio is automated.
